Once again, I meant to write this post yesterday but ended up doing it today. Reason being I got distracted by The Sims 3 till 5am. And now I’m suffering from a puffy right eye. BOO. It’ll prolly feel better later.
Installation wasn’t as bad as KH predicted. It took about 15mins? So maybe EA is getting better at this. But the game was seriously laggy, images weren’t smooth, and saving takes eons to complete (about a minute i think). EA says this is a pre-retail, buggy and incomplete version. I sure hope it is. Either that or I need a new computer to play it =P
The Sims 3 feels rather promising now though. Quite fun. I’m not sure how long my interest can be sustained. I said that I’ll get the real thing if I actually like it that much. I’m still coming to the conclusion whether I like it so much as to spend 60 bucks on it. It’s still possible, especially if what I’m playing now is indeed “buggy and incomplete”.
Watching “Distant Worlds: Music from Final Fantasy” later at the esplanade tonight. It’s gonna be played by the Singapore Festival Orchestra. Sigh, Abtzy says they have the tendency to screw up, or fail expectations. I hope they don’t screw up tonight. Anyway, they’ll have to screw up rather significantly for me to notice it I think. So sometimes, being musically uneducated is a good thing! Ignorance is bliss! =D

After watching the concert I’m supposed to go dbl O for a short while. Daniel semi-blackmailed me into going haha. This shall be my first time stepping into a club during normal opening hours? It’s their 20th anniversary so there’s no cover charge. And drinks at 3bucks before 11pm for tonight. So hmm..shall see how it goes.
